Although PR1.1 update for Symbian^3 devices is here, it didn't bring a new UI or any eye-candy changes. But Nokia is working in some great ideas and there will be a new UI for Symbian this year. This time it's a simple but really useful RSS reader that demonstrates the brand new Qt Push Notification API in action compatible with S60v5 (excluding 5800) and Symbian^3 devices.
A new universal SDK is in the works by Nokia that will unify the Qt SDK's of all platforms into one and so simplify the process of porting apps into different platforms. A first Technology preview of this new SDK was released yesterday
