MeeGo just got some minor updates on its software as well as an updated version on its Software Development Kits. It's the 2nd update to its core software and Netbook UX since the release of MeeGo 1.1. The new updates contain many fixes and updated versions of software.

According to MeeGo's Blog the update for MeeGo 1.2 brings the following fixes and changes:

  • Important Security Issues
  • Connection manager updated to 0.60.7, with many bug fixes
  • SyncEvolution updated to latest stable release, 1.1.1
  • Google Chrome updated to latest version, 8.0.552.224
  • Several media player and email client issues are resolved
There is also an update for MeeGo 1.0 which brings the following:
  • Improvements in system security
  • Several media player issues resolved
  • Google Chrome updated to latest version, 8.0.552.224

The Software Development Kit for MeeGo 1.1 is now updated to version 1.1.2 which includes accelerated graphics performance for Linux QEMU VM and plenty of bug fixes. More details on the SDK update can be found on the MeeGo SDK wiki page.
